Lil Tay is alive.

The 14-year-old social media influencer mentioned she continues to be among the many residing on her Instagram account on Aug. 10, a day after it was introduced she died.

“I need to make it clear that my brother and I are secure and alive, however I’m fully heartbroken, and struggling to even discover the fitting phrases to say,” Tay mentioned in a press release offered to TMZ. “It’s been a really traumatizing 24 hours. All day yesterday, I used to be bombarded with limitless heartbreaking and tearful telephone calls from family members all whereas attempting to kind out this mess.

“My Instagram account was compromised by a 3rd social gathering and used to unfold jarring misinformation and rumors concerning me, to the purpose that even my title was fallacious. My authorized title is Tay Tian, not ‘Claire Hope.’ ”

Tay’s inaccurate demise report unfold throughout a number of media retailers on Aug. 9. Amongst those that publicly mourned the loss was peer and fellow social media influencer Woah Vicky.

Lil Tay rose to fame posing because the “World’s Youngest Flexer” on the age of 9. She would flaunt stacks of cash and the posh way of life she mentioned she earned by way of working onerous. She used specific language to fight any grownup doubters or critics of hers. She hasn’t posted on the account since 2018.

TMZ additionally reported Tay’s dad and mom, Angela Tian and Christopher Hope, have been in a public custody battle since 2018, across the time Tay stopped posting on-line.
