Town of Atlanta grew to become a winter wonderland on Friday (Jan. 10) as a uncommon winter storm hit, inflicting flight delays, icy street situations…and fairly humorous commentary on social media.
WSB-TV Meteorologist Brian Monahan says that the snow will proceed within the mountains and sometimes combine with sleet by way of late Friday. In the meantime, the metro space will principally see a mixture of sleet, freezing rain, and ice with the snow.
